text-align: left;\">With the submission of an abstract, the first author (presenting author):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"direction: ltr; text-align: left;\">Accepts responsibility for the accuracy of the submitted abstract.<\/li>\n<li style=\"direction: ltr; text-align: left;\">Confirms that all authors are aware of and agree to the content of the abstract and support the data presented.<\/li>\n<li style=\"direction: ltr; text-align: left;\">Identifies any financial interest in products or processes described in the abstract. This information is to be forwarded to the Scientific Committee together with the abstract.<\/li>\n<li style=\"direction: ltr; text-align: left;\">States that, for studies involving human or animal subjects, permission has been obtained from the relevant regulatory authority and properly informed consent given where appropriate.<\/li>\n<li style=\"direction: ltr; text-align: left;\">Gives permission for the abstract, when selected for presentation (oral or poster), to be published.<\/li>\n<li style=\"direction: ltr; text-align: left;\">Encore abstracts will be accepted.<\/li>\n<li style=\"direction: ltr; text-align: left;\">Submitted abstracts cannot withdrawn after the official submission deadline.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b618ae3 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"b618ae3\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\"><div style=\"direction: ltr\"><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.7px\">Abstract Format<\/span><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.7px\"><\/span><\/div><\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-455790bf elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"455790bf\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p style=\"direction: ltr; text-align: left;\">In order to be considered, an abstract should respect the following guidelines:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li style=\"direction: ltr;\">The abstract must be submitted in good English.<\/li>\n<li style=\"direction: ltr;\">The Scientific Committee reserves the right to reject those abstracts, which are presented in poor English, or may request an immediate revision by the presenter.<\/li>\n<li style=\"direction: ltr;\">Abstract titles should be brief and should reflect the content of the abstract.<\/li>\n<li style=\"direction: ltr;\">Commercial names may not be used in the abstract title.<\/li>\n<li style=\"direction: ltr;\">No more than 10 authors can be listed.\u00a0 Only institutional affiliations, cities and countries should follow.<\/li>\n<li style=\"direction: ltr;\">Abstracts on \u201ctrials in progress\u201d can be submitted and will be considered for oral or poster presentation as long as they contain at least some preliminary and presentable results.<\/li>\n<li style=\"direction: ltr;\">The decision regarding inclusion in the program and type of presentation will be decided by the Scientific Program Committee.<\/li>\n<li style=\"direction: ltr;\">Abstracts should be organized under the headings:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr; text-align: left;\">\u00a0 Introduction -&gt; Material and method -&gt; Results and discussion -&gt; Conclusion<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li style=\"direction: ltr;\">The online abstract submission procedure will not accept abstracts that exceed 300 words (body of the abstract).<\/li>\n<li style=\"direction: ltr;\">Abbreviations may be used if standard or if spelled out and defined at the first use. Compounds should be mentioned with the generic name, in lower cases. Commercial names are admitted in the text, with an \u00ae, and if in brackets following the generic name, i.e. \u201cgeneric (Commercial \u00ae)\u201d.<\/li>\n<li style=\"direction: ltr;\">Supplementary data or appendices will not be accepted.<\/li>\n<li style=\"direction: ltr;\">Figures or photographs are allowed. Symbols and structures of drugs are allowed and should be drawn in black.<\/li>\n<li style=\"direction: ltr;\">Only the submitting author will receive a confirmation\/abstract number by e-mail from the IHS2020 Secretariat within 48 hours of submission. Abstracts submitted on paper or by e-mail attachment will not be considered.<\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"direction: ltr; text-align: left;\">The Scientific Committee will make the selection of abstracts for oral and poster presentations on March 2026.<\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"direction: ltr; text-align: left;\">If a selected author cannot attend, the presenting author should assign a replacement.<\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"direction: ltr; text-align: left;\">The following presentation formats are applicable for IHS 2026: Oral presentation or Poster presentation.<\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"direction: ltr; text-align: left;\">The Scientific Committee will determine whether abstracts will be accepted based on blind review.
